I think ‘Kipper’ is past his prime. His stats have declined since Calgary made their Stanley Cup Finals push pre-lockout. He is now known for having slow starts to the season (just look at the first 20 games he has played of each season over the past few years). Yes, he has made some of THE BEST SAVES EVER PUT ON FILM (see youtube clip), but a top flight goalie does not allow an obscene number of goals against the Toronto Marlies Maple Leafs.

I am sick of all the respect for Kipper. He had two great years, and the rest have been above average. This year, ugh. Finland has always had a problem between the pipes. Calgary needs to do something about its goaltending. And they ought to do it while we all still believe that Kipper is a top goaltender, thus getting more then they deserve in return for him.
