Unlikely Fights

Its been a while since our first unlikely fight of the year which featured Sam Gagner taking on Craig Conroy but we finally found another one. Halloween night brought out the best in Sidney Crosby who had enough of Minnesota cheap shotter Marek Zidlicky. Zidlicky slew-footed Crosby as he was going to get the puck behind the Minnesota net and as the two made their way to the front of the net, Sidney did what everyone wanted him to do. I personally would have liked to see him inflict a little more damage on Zidlicky though. I love how the homer Minnesota announcer says “well Crosby didn’t exactly pick a fighter” when everyone knows how dirty Zidlicky is and definitely had it coming.

he clearly didnt have his jersey tie on and didnt get kicked out of the game. Just proves the NHL hates fighters and the role they play
